The TWVP team has decades of experience advising and investing in technology companies and understands what is required to transform an idea into a successful business. The TWVP team has developed broad networks and industry expertise in key technology sectors, and emphasizes teamwork, both within the firm and with portfolio companies, as a core value.
TWVP is comprised of a group of investment professionals and staff who support the team's efforts. In addition, TWVP has an Entrepreneur/Executive-in-Residence (EIR) program to round out the investment team. The EIR program brings experienced entrepreneurs and executives into TWVP to assist portfolio companies, help evaluate new investments or incubate a start up idea.
TWVP portfolio companies benefit not only from the support of the TWVP partner who sits on the board, but also from the involvement of the other TWVP partners and staff throughout the lifecycle of the Fund's investment. All TWVP General Partners meet with the management team of a prospective portfolio company during the due diligence process and continue to be involved with each portfolio company after an investment is made, particularly with respect to recruiting and making introductions to potential partners and customers. TWVP portfolio company CEOs often ask for and receive help from TWVP General Partners and investment professionals who are not on their board.
